Heinz Billing Prize for the Advancement of scientific computing
About the prize
The Heinz Billing Prize has first been awarded in 1993 by the Heinz Billing Association for the Promotion of Scientific Computing e. V., an association founded within the Max Planck Society. It is named after the German computer pioneer Heinz Billing and aims to honour outstanding contributions to computer science.
